Privacy policy

Last updated: August 2026

Altora Media Group ("Altora", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit altoramedia.com or get in touch with us, why we process it, and which rights you have. Altora Media Group is the data controller for this processing under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Which data we process

— Contact details you share with us. When you email us or reply to a proposal we process your name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your message. — Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp) to deliver the site securely and to detect abuse. — Your cookie choice. We store your answer to the cookie banner locally in your own browser.

Why we process it

— To answer your questions and to prepare, agree and carry out an assignment (performance of a contract). — To keep the website available, secure and free of abuse (legitimate interest). — To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and administrative duties. — To measure how the site is used — only if you have given consent for analytics cookies.

Cookies

This website works without tracking cookies. We place only what is strictly necessary for the site to function, plus one local entry that remembers your cookie choice. Analytics or marketing cookies are placed exclusively after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can withdraw that consent at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of this page.

Who receives your data

We work with carefully selected suppliers who process data on our behalf: our hosting provider (Vercel), our content platform (Sanity) and our email provider. They process data only on our instructions and under a data processing agreement. We do not sell personal data. Where a supplier processes data outside the European Economic Area, this takes place under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Correspondence about an assignment is kept for as long as the project runs, and for seven years thereafter where tax law requires it. Other correspondence is deleted no later than two years after our last contact. Server logs are kept for a short period only.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and transfer your personal data, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Send your request to info@altoramedia.group and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unlawful processing, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access control on our systems.
